This guide will show Match Officials how to See, Approve and Decline the notifications of the appointments for a competition made by the Referee Admin or the Competition manager.
1. Log In
Sign in to your account.
2. Dashboard
In the left side menu select Dashboard and there you will find the appointments assigned by the Referee Admin or the Competition Manager in the To Do List under the calendar.
The notification will let you see some additional information like the Match, Date Arena and Role.
3. Complete
In the right side of the task, you will find the option "Complete" and once you click on that button you will be re directed to the appointments page where you will see your appointments and also, will have the option to Confirm or Decline the appointment.
4. Competition Settings
When the competition is being created the Competition Manager can choose 3 options in which 2 of those options will have a deadline to submit your response, please see explanation below:
a. Automated Confirm: This means that if the attached Match Official does not confirm or decline the appointment within the specified deadline, the appointment will automatically change to CONFIRMED.
b. Automated Decline: his means that if the attached Match Official does not confirm or decline the appointment within the specified deadline, the appointment will automatically change to DECLINED.
c. Manual Confirm or Decline: This means that nothing will happen if the attached Match Officials do not respond to their appointments.
5. Confirm - Decline
You will see 2 different popups depending on the response you submit:
Confirm - To continue with the confirmation click on the Confirm Appointment Button.
Decline - When an appointment is declined, there will be a box where you can add the reason of the declination. After adding the reason, click on the Decline Appointment button.
5. Email Notifications
As a Match Official, you will get an email notification when you get appointed to a match. Please see the different notifications explained below:
- When the competition was created with Manual Confirmation or Decline: No deadline given to submit a response
- When the competition was created with Auto-decline: deadline given, if a response is not submitted before the deadline, the appointment will be automatically declined.
- When the competition was created with Auto-confirm: deadline given, if a response is not submitted before the deadline, the appointment will be automatically confirmed.
