This information is to provide Member Associations an update relating to the upcoming change to manually modifying the Registration Status of an individual.

A) The Update

  • At the Request of FIFA, we have moved forward with removing the ability for any Admin Role at the Member Association Level to have the access to manually change the status of a person's registration (e.g. a person status changed from passive to active)
  • This was due to a lot of users believing that manually changing the status of a person from passive to active for example, was another way of registering a person. However this incorrect process does not create/recreate any work tasks. That is, if you change a person manually from 'Active' to 'On Hold' work tasks will not be created for the Club/MA.
  • There is very few reasons for a Member Association User to make such manual changes which created an increase number of issues for the stakeholders and an increase in support tickets to amend the changes made.
  • By removing this access, it will ensure that all registrations are done using the correct process and decrease the number of risks and issues that occur when used incorrectly.

We recommend that you contact the FCP Support Team for assistance if you believe a record needs to be modified in the future.

This change has currently been released to your UAT/Test Environment and will be released to your Live environment in the coming weeks.
