This article will guide Member Associations through the main functions and correct usage of the Schedule Viewer feature on FCMS. 



1. Locate the Schedule Viewer

After you log in to the Competition Management System, you will be able to see the Schedule Viewer in the main menu on the left side of the screen under the Competitions section. 


Accounts with the roles of MA System Admin, Competition Manager, Referee Manager, and Regional Competition Manager will be able to use this feature.




2. Schedule Viewer Main Functionalities 

The Schedule Viewer provides you with a visual representation of the match schedule for Match Officials and/or Venues, allowing you to see their previous, current, and future matches. This makes it easier to identify conflicts of schedule, visualize upcoming fixtures, and switch match officials and venues for designated fixtures. We will explore in-depth each option below.



3. Schedule Viewer - Match Officials 

Accounts with the roles of MA System Admin, Competition Manager, Referee Manager, and Regional Competition Manager will have access to the Match Officials section of the Schedule Viewer.

 

1 - Match Officials Tab: on this tab you will be able to see the schedule of the appointed Match Officials for the games of the competition. 


2 - Appointments: you can filter your preferred time frame by selecting "Today", "Month" and "Week", by clicking the arrows you will be able to go to the desired date. The image above portrays what a weekly schedule looks like, the image below portrays a monthly schedule.



By selecting the option "Today" whether in the "Month" or "Week" view, the current date will be highlighted in blue.


3- Match Official Group: by clicking on this symbol you will get a pop-up that will allow you to filter the Match Officials by group.

4 - Match Officials Listed: displays the names of the match officials, to the right of the name there is a pin icon, by clicking on it you can pin on top of the list the officials of your preference.


5- Fixture: next to every match official's name are the matches they are appointed to for the specific period selected. The fixtures are color-coded as follows:

Blue for scheduled matches
Yellow for matches that have a scheduling conflict
Grey for completed matches


Additionally, by clicking on a match you will be able to see the match information, access the match quickly by clicking on the link highlighted in blue, and Replace Officials and Delete Appointments without the need of going to the match.




4. Schedule Viewer - Venues

Accounts with the roles of Competition Manager, and Regional Competition Manager will have access to the Venues section of the Schedule Viewer.



1 - Venues Tab: on this tab you will be able to see the matches scheduled on each venue of the competition. 


2 - Reservations: just like in the Match Officials tab you can filter your preferred time frame by selecting "Today", "Month" and "Week", by clicking the arrows you will be able to go to the desired date. The image above portrays what a weekly schedule looks like, the image below portrays a monthly schedule.



By selecting the option "Today" whether in the "Month" or "Week" view, the current date will be highlighted in blue.


3- City/Capacity: by clicking on this symbol you will get a pop-up that will allow you to filter the Venues by the city they are located in, or their capacity.



4 - Venues Listed: displays the names of the venues. To the right of each venue there is a pin icon, by clicking on it you can pin on top of the list the venues of your preference.


5- Schedule: next to every venue are the matches scheduled to take place on them for the specific period selected. The matches are color-coded as follows:

Green for scheduled matches
Yellow for matches that have a scheduling conflict
Grey for completed matches


Additionally, by clicking on a match you will be able to access the match quickly by clicking on the link highlighted in blue, and Edit Match information without the need of going to the match.




5. Fixing Schedule Conflicts

If a match is marked in yellow, there is a scheduling conflict.

  • Conflict for Match Officials: one or more matches have been assigned to the same official on the same day, to fix this you can click on the match and Replace the Official or Delete the Appointment.
  • Conflict for Venuess: one or more matches have been assigned to the same venue on the same day, to fix this you can click on the match and Edit Match information.
